3 CBD Snack Recipes For TV Binge-Watching

3 CBD Snack Recipes For Binge-Watching TV

There may be no ritual more satisfying than clearing your calendar for the day to get lost in your favorite TV show for hours on end. Thanks to streaming services, there’s a binge-worthy marathon at our fingertips whenever we’re in the mood.

With all that TV watching comes the need for snacks! And since you’re already taking this time to unplug from all responsibilities (other than hitting that “next episode” button), binging on shows is the perfect time to enjoy some CBD.

CBD-infused snacks can help you fast-forward to the good part by alleviating stress and anxiety.(1) It’s also a natural way to unwind.

Adding CBD to your TV treats is easy. CBD oil drops can be mixed into dressings, dips, and sauces to incorporate CBD’s benefits.

Here are three recipes to try for your next date with Netflix.

The Best Snacks For Binge-Watching TV (With CBD!)

What makes a good binge-watching snack? We say it should be:

  • Fast and easy. Cause there’s a good chance you might be whipping this up in between a nail-biting cliffhanger and the next episode.
  • Mess-free. Obviously, anything could make a mess, but good TV-watching snacks are either finger food or can be eaten on the couch without fear of it sloshing everywhere.
  • Delicious! After all, you’re in this to enjoy yourself.

We took three recipes that checked all these boxes and added CBD. You’re welcome!

Just two more super quick things before we press play:

  1. Keep in mind that everyone has a personal tolerance to CBD. We’ve indicated the dosage per serving with each recipe. You can scale it up or down to suit your needs.
  2. If you have leftovers, label the container you’re storing them in with info about how much CBD is inside so there are no mix-ups. And be sure to keep these away from kids and pets.

Now, let’s get snacking!

CBD-Infused Queso Dip

You can’t go wrong with chips and dip. Make it queso and you’re in for a salty, savory, Tex-Mex treat.

With the addition of orange-flavored CBD oil (trust us, it works), this queso recipe takes your snacking into unexpected new territory. It pairs perfectly with tortilla chips, but crackers and even slices of crusty French bread go well, too.

From a nutritional facts standpoint, this CBD recipe technically makes five servings. But it’s really easy to eat, so we’ve scaled the CBD back a bit — there are four doses in the whole recipe. If you know you or your binge-watching buddies tend to go all-in on queso, you could cut it back even further.

Ingredients

  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium green onion, sliced thin
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • ⅓ cup diced tomatoes, canned (the kind with green chilies works great here, but regular will do)
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional — leave it out if you don’t like a spicy kick)
  • ½ tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 6 oz evaporated milk
  • ¼ pound grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 droppersful Nano CBD Broad-Spectrum Oil - Orange
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the green onions and saute for 3-4 minutes or until fragrant. Add the garlic and saute for another minute.
  2. Add the tomatoes and spices. Saute for two minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the cornstarch or arrowroot powder to the pot, then pour in the evaporated milk. Stir well.
  4. Heat until the mixture boils, then add the cheese. Stir it in to melt. Remove the pan from the heat as soon as the cheese is thoroughly melted.
  5. Mix in the CBD oil, then transfer to a serving bowl. Top with chopped cilantro if desired.

On the off chance you have leftovers, seal those up in an airtight container and store ‘em in the fridge. Don’t forget to add the CB-Details to the label.

Tropical CBD Fruit & Nut Salad

Sometimes you want something on the lighter, fruitier side for your TV snacks. Maybe you’re watching a show set in Hawaii and you want to match the mood. Or maybe you simply prefer sweet to salty.

Enter: This fruit salad recipe.

A trio of fruits is tied together with a tropical CBD-infused salad dressing, and walnuts and coconut give it a little more substance. This is a fast and easy make-ahead snack, too. Yeah, it has a lot going for it!

One serving = one heaping cup with one dose of CBD per serving.

Ingredients

  • Juice of ½ of a lime
  • ½ tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • 3 droppersful Nano CBD Water Soluble - Tropical
  • 1 navel orange, diced
  • 1 cup of pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup of strawberries, cut into quarters
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut, toasted

Directions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey or maple syrup, CBD oil, and cardamom.
  • Add the fruit, walnuts, and coconut. Toss to combine.

Store leftovers in a labeled airtight container in the refrigerator.

CBD Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Pretzels

Sweet and salty lovers, this one’s for you.

The flavors of dark chocolate and peanut butter are elevated by vanilla-flavored CBD oil. This mouthwatering combination dresses up pretzel twists, bringing all the flavor and goodness of CBD in each bite.

One serving = 10 pretzels. Since in reality, you’ll probably munch on a few more, we dialed back the CBD so there’s around one dose per 15 pretzels. Adjust according to your appetite.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Fill a medium saucepan with about 1 inch of water and heat to a low simmer. Place a heat-safe bowl on top. Add the peanut butter and chocolate chips. (Alternatively, you can use a double-boiler if you have one.)
  3. Stir constantly until the peanut butter and chocolate chips are melted.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the CBD oil.
  5. Dip each pretzel into the melted mixture about halfway. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. When you’re done, pop the pretzels into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is solid.

The chocolate on these pretzels will stay solid at room temperature, but it can melt if it gets warm. We recommend storing leftovers in a labeled airtight container in the refrigerator to prevent having a heap of stuck-together pretzels.
